Sign In to SurePass on Mobile Device

To enhance the security of your mobile Official Capacity ID (OCID), SurePass utilizes a One-Time Passcode approach rather than a username and password. After you have successfully registered as a law enforcement official, you can sign into the mobile app using your official agency email address.

Signing In to SurePass via Mobile Device

  1. Open the SurePass app and sign in using the email address where you received your SurePass invitation. This email should be associated with your agency.
  2. You will receive a six digit sign in code that will be sent to your email associated with your SurePass account.
  3. Enter the verification code that was sent to your email and you will be able to sign in.
    1. Please note that you will be prompted to use a new verification code each time you sign in, so previous codes will NOT work when signing in.
  4. If you cannot find the verification code in your email:
    1. Confirm that it was not sent to your Spam or Junk folder. If it was sent to your Spam folder, please mark it as Not Spam or adjust your inbox settings to ensure that future verification code emails are sent to your Inbox.
    2. You can click the Did not get the code? button to resend a new verification code to your email.

As a law enforcement official, you will only need to access the app to add your OCID to your mobile device.
