Scan with a Mobile Device

As a Verifier, you have the ability to scan certain SurePass credentials using another mobile device, such as a phone or tablet that has the SurePass app downloaded.

Please note, you can only use this option if scanning a SureCard or SureTag. SurePass currently does not support scanning Mobile OCIDs with another mobile device.

  1. From the SurePass Mobile app, confirm that your Current Location and Current Checkpoint match where you are currently located. If this does not match, please coordinate with your SurePass administrator to update the checkpoint configuration.
  2. Click the Scan with Mobile Device option.
  3. You can now present a SureCard or SureTag to the mobile device to begin verification.
