Configure a Checkpoint

Before scanning officials at your checkpoint, you need to ensure that the checkpoint is configured correctly to reflect the specific checkpoint that you are at. Follow these steps to configure your checkpoint correctly.

  1. After logging into the SurePass app as a Verifier, click on the menu in the top left of the screen.
  2. Choose the Configure Checkpoint option in the side menu under Checkpoints.
  3. Click the Edit button if you need to change the checkpoint that your reader is currently configured to.
  4. Choose from one of the available locations.
    1. Note: If you do not see your current location as an option, please contact your agency's Admin to set up a new location.
  5. Next, choose from the list of available checkpoints.

Once you've completed these steps, you should see the correct checkpoint listed under the Verification Mode of the Scanning interface.
