Adding or Editing Your Profile Photo

We've made it even easier to keep your OCID up to date by allowing you to add or change your profile photo directly from the SurePass mobile app.

For New Users (No Photo on File)

  1. After completing the initial registration, log in to the SurePass mobile app for the first time.
  2. A pop-up will appear, prompting you to Add Photo. Tap this option to begin the process.
  3. You will be given the option to either Take a Photo using your device's camera or Pick from your photo library.
  4. Once you have taken or selected a photo, it will be automatically saved to your OCID.

Your photo is an essential part of the verification process! Without a photo, you will NOT be verified to access a SurePass checkpoint.

  2. Tap on the existing photo or the Edit Photo button located below it.

Photo Guidelines

To ensure your OCID is up to standard and functions correctly, please follow these guidelines when selecting a photo:

  • Framing: Ensure you are the only one in the photo and your full head and shoulders are centered and clearly visible, similar to a passport photo.
  • Quality: Use a high-resolution photo with a white or light, solid color background. Ensure the photo is full color.
  • Appearance: The photo should be a current likeness of you, without sunglasses or headwear (unless for religious purposes). Smiling or a neutral expression is permitted.

Ensure that your profile picture avoids the following issues:

  • Wearing sunglasses, hats or other objects that are not for religious purposes.
  • Gestures other than smiling.
  • A photo of a photo.

We recommend reviewing your OCID after you upload or change a photo to make sure it is framed correctly and meets these standards.
