Custom Verification Questions Setup as an Admin
As an Admin user, you can now customize the verification flow for your agency's checkpoints by creating and managing your own questions that appear at checkpoints.
Creating a New Verification Question
- Navigate to the Agency Settings section of the Admin dashboard.
- In the Verification Questions area, choose Add Verification Question.
- The Question Headline will be the question that is displayed at your checkpoint.
- The Context Phasing can be added to include more information for Verifiers to reference when asking this question.
- Click Save Changes to save your new verification question.
Enabling a New Verification Question
Once you have created a new question, you can now enable it (or disable it) at any of your available checkpoints.
- Navigate to the Checkpoints section of the Admin dashboard.
- Select the specific checkpoint you wish to update.
- In the checkpoint settings, find your newly created question.
- Toggle the question ON.
Once toggled ON, this question will be a required part of the verification flow for that checkpoint.
Deactivating or Deleting a Question
You have the ability to deactivate or delete custom questions you have created.
- To Deactivate: If a question is currently in use at any checkpoint, toggling it OFF in the Checkpoints page will deactivate it. It will be removed as an option from whatever checkpoint you have selected.
- To Delete: You can permanently delete a custom question from the Agency Settings page.
If you delete a verification question from the Agency Settings page, it's record will still be preserved in past Clearance Logs. All existing records of when that question was asked and answered will remain in your Clearance Log. You will NOT lose any historical data.
⚠️ Important Note on the "Official Capacity" Verification Question ⚠️
Our system includes a default Official Capacity question. While you have the ability to delete this default question, please be aware that if you create a new question with the exact same name and content, it will not automatically tie into the underlying logic of the original question. If you are not absolutely sure you want to remove it permanently from all checkpoints, it's safer to leave the original in place.
