Activating a New Credential

Your agency or organization may issue you additional credentials besides your mobile OCID, including SureCard cards or SureTag stickers. This process walks through how you can activate this credential directly from the SurePass mobile app.

  1. Log into the SurePass mobile app using your agency/organization email address.
  2. Choose the My Credentials  option to view all of your credentials, including credentials that need to be activated.
  3. Choose the credential you want to activate by choosing the Activate  button.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the activation process. This involves:
    1. Scanning the credential using your mobile device to begin the activation process.
    2. Verify the activation process by scanning the credential.
  5. If you encounter any issues during the activation process, try scanning the credential again until you are met with a success prompt on your device.
