Connect to Bluetooth OCID Reader

Prior to scanning officials, ensure that your OCID Reader is properly connected to your tablet by following these steps.

  1. Click the Scan with Card Reader option and ensure that your checkpoint is properly configured. If your checkpoint is not configured correctly, please refer to the steps outlined in Configure a Checkpoint.
  2. Click on the Bluetooth Devices tab to pull up nearby OCID Readers.
  3. Select the correct OCID Reader from the list. Each OCID Reader will be labeled with it's associated name.
  4. If you need to connect to a different OCID Reader, click the Disconnect SurePass Device option and choose the correct OCID Reader from the available options.
