Add OCID to Your Mobile Wallet

In order to use your OCID at authorized SurePass checkpoints, you will need to add your OCID to your mobile wallet pass.

  1. Sign into the SurePass app on your mobile device by entering you email address and signing in using the six digit code that was sent to your associated email address.
  2. Once signed in, click the Menu button in the top left corner, which looks like three parallel lines.
  3. Click on the View OCID option underneath your name and image in the top left corner.
  4. ⚠️ Follow the prompts to add your OCID credential to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on your device.
    1. Click on the Add to Apple Wallet button if using an Apple device.
    2. Click on the View to Google Wallet  if using an Android device.
  5. Open your device's mobile wallet to confirm that your SurePass OCID has been successfully added. If you are unsure of how to access your mobile wallet, please follow these steps.

There are a few known issues that may impact your ability to add an OCID to your mobile wallet:

  • Some network firewall settings may prevent you from adding a mobile pass to your mobile wallet.
    • In this case, disconnect from that WiFi network and attempt to add your OCID again while using a different network or your cellular data.
  • If your agency utilized Managed Apple IDs for your device, you may not be able to add your OCID to your mobile wallet pass.
    • However, you will still be able to access SurePass checkpoints by providing the email address associated with your agency to the security personnel conducting your verification.
